Spanish Accountant

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Spanish Accountant with strong practical experience in Spanish accounting standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing full-cycle accounting processes across various industries and be confident in handling year-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting for different types of companies and sectors

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping in compliance with Spanish accounting regulations

• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports

• Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of practical experience in Spanish accounting (3+ years preferred)

• Strong experience with full year-end closing processes

• Proven hands-on experience in day-to-day bookkeeping under Spanish regulations

• Solid understanding of Spanish accounting standards and practices

• Degree or vocational training in accounting is a plus, but not required

Nice to Have:

• Experience with legalization of accounting books and filing Annual Accounts with the Mercantile Registry

• Familiarity with accounting tools such as A3 / A3SOC (or similar systems)

• Native or fluent Spanish language proficiency
